Nothin' but hardcore ghost huntin'

All the Media coverage started when I was contacted by Daniel Vargas of the Houston Chronicle . He wanted to write an article about my ghosthunting for a cover story for the Texas Magazine segment of the Sunday Houston Chronicle in July of 2001 . Daniel spent 3 months going on private investigations and visiting numerous cemeteries with me during that time . He opened his mind up to the possibility of being able to make contact from beyond the grave . I believe he was pleasantly surprised with what he encountered . At the time Daniel first made contact with me I never revealed my name or the city I resided in on my site . I preferred to hunt alone with my dog or on occasion with a couple of close friends . Well since the article my life as changed dramatically . I have been on an "Up Close and Personal" segment on CBS's KHOU Channel 11 on Halloween night where Jeremy Desel and his film crew spent a night ghosthunting with me and my friends in one of Houston's most haunted cemeteries . I have also appeared as the main speaker on several occasions for associations yearly events . Though allowing my privacy to be lost by the publicity I must admit I have met some wonderful people I probably would have not encountered if it wasn't for the media coverage .Below you will find the links to the Texas Magazine story and the CBS segment . November 4th, 2002 Daniel Vargas won yet another award for the Texas Magazine cover story that was written last year about me"Where Ghosts Dwell". Daniel was the recipient of The Dallas Press Club "Katie Award". The article had already won the "Houston Press Club Award" for "Best Feature Article of 2001". The article was also voted one of the top 5 "Best Feature Article of 2001" for the Online Journalism Awards presented by Columbia University School of Journalism . October 31st 2002 Feature story on WB Channel 39 News "Halloween Night Edition". News correspondent Elizabeth Lee . When I was asked to appear in a Halloween night segment , I knew exactly what house I wanted to take the film crew into . It is the same home as on the Investigations page referred to as " Plantaion X Neighborhood X " . While filming for this segment , the Channel 39 cameras experienced several bouts of technical difficulty . I always enjoy it when the dead come out and play for the Media !
